How Counselling Can Help
My core training is person-centred which means you can literally talk about anything, whether you are stuck in a rut, or simply dealing with the every-day challenges of life. Counselling can help with feelings of depression, anxiety or low self-confidence. You may wish to explore loss, sexuality, discrimination, bullying, anger, perhaps even a disconnect with your feelings. I aim to be client-led.​

Within our therapeutic relationship, my aim is to offer you the 'core conditions' (empathy, a non-judgmental disposition and congruence), and through careful provision of these conditions, you will feel accepted enough as an individual to talk about experiences that feel difficult to share in everyday living and gain new insights into any mental or emotional difficulties that you may have within your life.

If you require support in moving through past traumatic events, rest assured, the counselling will be trauma-informed. I have the experience and knowledge to help people manage the emotional, physical and psychological impact of past distressing events.
