About Me
How I Can Help
I work with adults and survivors experiencing:
-
Stress, anxiety, depression and unhelpful thought patterns
-
Trauma and the impact of past experiences
-
Living with neurodiversity
-
Low self-worth or a strong inner critic
-
Complex relationship patterns, including the relationship with self
-
Grief, loss, discrimination, bullying, major life changes and more
My aim is to offer the core therapeutic conditions of empathy, acceptance and genuineness. Within this relationship, you can speak openly about experiences that may feel difficult to share elsewhere and begin to understand the emotional or psychological challenges affecting your life.
If you are processing past trauma, sessions will be trauma‑informed. I have extensive experience supporting people with the emotional, physical and psychological effects of distressing events.
My Approach
I am a person‑centred therapist, offering a compassionate, non‑judgmental space where you can explore your history and current challenges at your own pace. This approach is non‑directive, meaning you choose what feels important to bring, and I support you in making sense of it. My style is gentle, steady and focused on helping you feel safe, heard and empowered.
I have supported individuals experiencing trauma-related symptoms such as flashbacks, panic attacks, chronic anxiety, EUPD, self-harm and difficulties with self-care. I understand how daunting a first session can feel, so creating a welcoming, respectful environment is always my priority.

Before becoming a counsellor, I worked in residential support, gaining insight into the lives of people with neurodevelopmental needs such as Autism, ADHD and Down’s Syndrome. This shaped my commitment to accessibility and equality of opportunity. I welcome enquiries from all backgrounds, regardless of race, gender, neurodiversity or financial situation.
I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and work in line with their ethical standards.
